WordPress Plugin: Buy Me a Beer
Buy Me A Beer WordPress plugin from Ankesh Kothari allows you to add a link to the end of your posts and your sidebar saying “Buy Me A Beer”, and it takes you to a secure PayPal payment donation page. “Buy Me A Coffee” is also available to those who do not drink alcoholic drinks.
Why add a “Buy Me a Beer†button instead of a simple “Donate Money†button?
Past experience shows me that asking people to donate money by giving them a specific reason increases donations by 200%!

I love the buy a beer concept - I remember YEARS ago sending the price of a couple of beers to a guy who wrote a stupid little web comic. I can’t even remember the comic, just that it made me laugh enough that I thought I’d buy the guy a beer if I met him.

Woah this is an interesting way to get donations! Yea I must agree that people will tend to do something more if they’re given a reason behind it 
haha! Anyway good luck with collecting the donations! Hope you can get as much as you wanted 
now it sounds like a birthday wish. LOL!
I currently do not use paypal, but I think I’ll be getting in when I go to university… and the first time I’ll do is to donate to you haha! May you have a great sunday! Take care!

Sorry, no coffee; we don’t do that here in Utah.
But I was once able to hand an ice-cold beer to a stranger who had just emerged from a 3-day backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon. Sometimes opportunity is obligation.
